Who’s Playing the New James Bond?

Despite the high-profile names attached, one key detail remains unresolved: no actor has been officially cast or announced as the new James Bond (007).

The role of Ian Fleming’s iconic spy is still under wraps, leaving speculation around the future face of the franchise firmly in place as production development continues.

But while the film universe takes shape behind the scenes, the James Bond universe is already expanding in a different direction. IO Interactive’s upcoming third-person action-adventure game 007 First Light has already confirmed its lead actor and supporting cast.

Now, IO Interactive has also unveiled one of the game’s biggest elements yet: its official title sequence. Released in a new video, the sequence leans heavily into classic Bond imagery while introducing a modern visual style tailored to the game’s narrative tone.

Accompanying the sequence is an original song titled “First Light,” performed by Lana Del Rey. The track underscores the game’s cinematic approach, aligning it with the long tradition of Bond theme music while establishing its own identity within the franchise.
