Is Disney Adding “Adults Only” 18+ Park Days? Rumors Swirl of a Kids-Free Disney

It’s no secret that Disney World is known as the quintessential family vacation destination. Every year, millions of families make the pilgrimage to Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort to spend some quality time with their families. However, as the years have gone by, more and more adult Disney fans are proudly enjoying child-free Disney vacations.

This begs the question, should Disney be offering adult-only Disney days?

It’s Not Just for Kids!

While many people believe that Disney is just for children, the reality is that that couldn’t be further from the truth. A massive portion of Disney Park fans are proud adults who enjoy the magic of Disney regardless of age. After all, when Walt Disney once said;

“I think what I want Disneyland to be most of all is a happy place- a place where adults and children can experience together some of the wonders of life, adventure, and feel better because of it.”

This sentiment has held true, and the Parks have more adult-geared entertainment than ever. The addition of the Star Wars and Marvel lands, as well as the surplus of alcoholic beverages, makes it feel that Disney is really catering to an older demographic. The concept of a ‘Disney Adult’ has been gaining popularity within the Disney Parks community.

Could an 18+ Disney Day Be Happening?

This week, rumors of an “adults only Disney day” have been circling the internet. Many people are shocked by this idea, while others are excited by the possibility. However, at this time, there is no such thing. This fake event was reported on my mousetrapnews.com, a parody website.

Still, the demand for this kind of thing seems to be entirely legitimate. After all, it is adults who are the ones buying a ticket to Disney and planning a Disney vacation in the first place! Perhaps the excitement over this idea will convince Disney to add this to the Park. If it were to be added, it is more likely that it would be an after-hours event instead of an entire day at the theme Park.
