It’s so close we can nearly smell it! Over the years, Disney has strategically implemented the use of branding in their theme park offerings. While it may be a controversial choice for some guests, it certainly has been a financially sound choice for Disney.
Disney’s latest attraction collaboration will capitalize on a sensation we all know well: smell. Disney parks have always used smell as a way to world-build, and this new attraction will further lean into this by inviting guests on a park-wide “sniff-and-search” adventure.
Can You Smell the Magic?
Coming sometime soon, the Smellephants on Parade search-and-sniff experience will be a unique collaboration between Disney and Scentsy. Scentsy is a candle/wax warmer company, making this collaboration an easy choice for the two partners.
Earlier this week, installation began on this parade. At completion, this parade will feature eight Smellephant statues, of which guests will use a scratch-and-sniff map and the guidance of Timothy Q Mouse to locate throughout Storybook Circus. Each elephant is uniquely scented as different snacks like churros, cotton candy, popcorn, and more that are yet to be revealed.
Perhaps the biggest upside to this Magic Kingdom Park attraction is the fact that it is a complimentary offering that is provided to theme park guests at no additional cost. Many fans, especially those with young children, yearn for free and fun Disney experience activities to entertain them while on vacation at the theme parks.

Progress Continues on Parade Offering
Last week, we first reported the initial statutes of this parade being implemented at Disney. Now, the latest addition to the enchanting charm of Magic Kingdom comes in the form of additional Smellephant statues being added just yesterday.
The presence of these charming Disney park Smellephants not only tantalizes the senses but also sparks curiosity among guests, inviting them to soon embark on a sensory journey unlike any other at the iconic Magic Kingdom. With each new statue, the enchanting allure of this olfactory adventure begins to captivate visitors.
