How Mickey Mouse Would Spend His Day at Walt Disney World

We all know it all started with a mouse, but how would Mickey Mouse spend his day in Walt Disney World now? Travel along with us and Mickey Mouse as we spend a day with him in Walt Disney World. Discover where we think he would eat, what attractions he would visit and how he would make sure to visit his friends along the way.

1. Breakfast at Garden Grill

Mickey would start his day by having a wonderful breakfast at Garden Grill in Epcot. Here he would be able to visit with Chip and Dale as well as Pluto as he enjoys the Harvest Feast. Mickey can experience a family-style meal with his friends feature eggs, famous Mickey waffles, fruits and more. All of this can be enjoyed as he takes in views of the Living with the Land below.  This is an excellent way to start the day at Walt Disney World.

2. Steamboat Driving on Liberty Belle

After saying good-bye to his friends, Mickey would head over to Magic Kingdom for more magical fun. Mickey’s first stop would be the Liberty Belle in Liberty Square. Helping drive the boat along the Rivers of America would put Mickey right back where he loves to be, on a steamboat driving along. This scenic tour allows Mickey to see a lot of Frontierland as the 12-minute cruise takes him around Tom Sawyer Island.

3. Pals and Sweets at Storybook Circus

After the ride on the Liberty Belle, Mickey can head over to Storybook Circus to see many of his friends once again.  While in Storybook Circus, Mickey could take a ride on The Barnstorm featuring his pal Goofy, grab a snack at Big Top Treats or even pop in to visit his friends at Pete’s Silly Sideshow.

4. A Hug from Pluto

On his way out of the Magic Kingdom, Mickey could stop and grab another hug from Pluto who is sometimes greeting guests near the train station.

5. Explore the Many Animals at Animal Kingdom

A quick trip to Animal Kingdom would be next on Mickey’s day in Walt Disney World.  Here he can focus on visiting all of the different animals.  Visiting the Gorilla Trials, Maharajah Jungle Trek or taking a trip to Rafiki’s Planet Watch could all be areas that Mickey can visit while in Animal Kingdom.  Seeing all of the different animals throughout the park would be a must for Mickey.  A quick trip along the safari on Kilimanjaro Safari takes Mickey around to see even more animals from giraffes, hippos, rhinos, and lions.

6. Become a Wilderness Explorer

Also while in the Animal Kingdom, Mickey could work to be a Wilderness Explorer.  Mickey can follow in the steps of Russel from Up and collect different adventure badges throughout Animal Kingdom.  By learning about different animals, Mickey can collect up to 25 badges!

7. Lunch at Tusker House

For lunch, Mickey would take a quick break at Tusker House. Here he can visit his friends once again while dining at a buffet. Mickey can try flavors from around the world while still enjoying comfort foods such as corn dogs and mac n’ cheese.

8. Visit Walt Disney Presents

From animals to the movies, Mickey would then head to Hollywood Studios to end his evening. When in Hollywood Studios, Mickey’s first stop would be to visit Walt Disney Presents. This attraction is a look at the legacy of Disney and the journey the company has taken over time. With a continuous running film as well as artifacts, Mickey can see his history come to life.

9. Supper at Hollywood and Vine

For supper, Mickey will head to Minnie’s seasonal dining event at Hollywood and Vine.  Here he can relax and enjoy a great meal as his day starts to wrap up.

10. Final Stop – Fantasmic!

Mickey’s final stop on his day at Walt Disney World would be to visit the fantastic show Fantasmic.  Here he can see himself take on the bad guys by believing in himself and knowing that good will win out.  With fireworks, laser projections, characters and more, Fantasmic is a perfect way to end a magical day at Walt Disney World.

With delicious food and fun times with friends, Mickey would have a magical time while visiting Walt Disney World.

About Jennifer Retzlaff

My name is Jennifer Retzlaff and I became a lifelong Disney fan during my first trip to Walt Disney World in 6th grade. From that moment, Disney became a big part of my life. I live in Iowa with my husband and two kids who are growing up too quickly for my liking. I started introducing my love for Disney early to my family with a Disney honeymoon and then trips when our youngest of 18 months. Since then, our family has been to Walt Disney World over five times and we continue to plan and dream for the next trip. I love the magic that Disney brings to people through the theme parks, cruises, adventures and movies they create. As a teacher, I try to bring that magic into my classroom to help kids believe that “If You Can Dream It, You Can Do It.” I recently reached a dream of mine as I joined Magic Vacation Planner as a personal travel advisor. With this team, I can now help others plan magical vacations. As a passionate writer, I also have my own blog at magicalvacationsbyjen which is also where you can follow me on instagram for trip reviews along with tips and tricks for your next magical vacation.
