Hoop-Dee-Doo Releases Reopening Menu and Our Mouths Are Watering!

On June 23, Disney will be bringing back one of its most popular stage shows — the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. The show takes place in Pioneer Hall at the Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue has been a staple show at Walt Disney World Resort since 1974 and Guests still can’t get enough of the fun singing and dancing. Hoop-Dee-Doo has been closed since the theme parks were forced to shut down because of the pandemic, and Guests have anxiously been awaiting its return.

Well, the time has come, and we are less than two weeks away from the reopening of Hoop-Dee-Doo! To get Guests even more excited than they already are, Disney has released the menu Guests will be able to indulge in — which is served family-style and all-you-can-eat!. Let’s take a look!

Starters

It’s always important to get your veggies in, but it’s even better if you can eat your veggies with cheese. The Hoop Salad is a traditional salad of lettuce, tomato, and cucumber, topped with sharp white cheddar cheese and the restaurant’s signature “hoop vinaigrette”.

Guests will also be able to snack on house-made cornbread, which is served with honey butter — the perfect complement! There will also be crisp and refreshing coleslaw served alongside the salad and cornbread.

Main Course

Make sure you don’t fill up too much on the salad and cornbread, because the main course at Hoop-Dee-Doo can’t be missed! Guests are served two delectable meat options. First, there are fall-off-the-bone pecan smoked barbecue ribs. The ribs are served alongside perfectly juicy and crispy fried chicken that Guests are sure to love.

And what would the main course be without some delicious sides? There are three sides that are served with the ribs and fried chicken — starting with the cornbread-crusted macaroni and cheese. That’s right, Disney took its incredible cornbread and used it as a topping for its rich and creamy mac and cheese. Next up are some hearty mashed potatoes. Fried chicken and mashed potatoes? Yes, please! Finally, the perfect accompaniment to barbecued ribs, Cowboy Beans, which are sure to hit the spot.

Dessert

No meal at Disney is complete without dessert, and you’ll want to make sure to save room for this one! Dessert at Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is the delectable Ma’s Famous Strawberry Shortcake, which is a traditional shortcake topped with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. The ideal ending to an incredible meal.
