Another milestone is reached in the Return of the “Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue!”
Yet another milestone has been reached in preparation for the reopening of the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue!
It’s less than a month before the return of the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. In March, Disney announced the return of the family-friendly dinner show, and fans of the show were overjoyed.
Today, the reservation window opened for showtimes beginning June 23, 2022. Guests who just can’t wait to see the show again can book reservations via the My Disney Experience app or at Disney World’s website.
“I remember when I first walked out on the Pioneer Hall stage, cast as Six Bits Slocum, and saw how much our Guests enjoyed the show,” said Tom Vazzana, who is now one of the creative directors with Disney Live Entertainment. “Over the years, I’ve seen the show grow with our Guests and when we return, our hope is that Guests truly see themselves reflected on stage and in our performances.”
The Hoop-Dee-Doo review has been a Guest-favorite at Disney World for 48 years–since 1974. The show has grown and changed some, but the unmatched family-friendly entertainment remains the same!
According to Disney Parks Blog:
Guests come from all over for the funny jokes, good food and tons of fun, but they keep coming back for the tradition and to share this beloved experience with new generations.
“Our Guests and cast are like family,” David Moore, stage manager, said. “It’s great to see Guests celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, and vacations year after year. You get to know friends, couples, and families. You meet their children and grandchildren. Just seeing how much this show means to our cast and Guests is an amazing experience and I love being a part of that magic.”
Disney invites Guests to “hightail it to a high-spirited music-and-comedy revue accompanied by a fantastic feast.”
Disney’s website describes the Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue as follows:
“Get ready to clap, move your feet, sing along or just have a good time at rustic Pioneer Hall in Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.

In between skits and song standards, chow down on all-you-care-to-enjoy fried chicken and smoked BBQ pork ribs, as well as a tossed green salad, cowboy beans, fresh-baked cornbread, macaroni-and-cheese and creamy coleslaw. And be sure to save room for the grand finale: strawberry shortcake!
Unlimited draft beer, wine, and sangria are available for Guests 21 years of age and up (proper ID required). Soft drinks are also included.”
