Married in Mexico
This weekend, Vanessa Hudgens, 34, and her fiance, professional baseball player Cole Tucker, tied the night in Tulum, Mexico.
A picture of Hudgens in a casual white dress barefoot on the beach surfaced, causing speculation that the two made it official on Saturday.
Hudgens’ fellow High School Musical star and friend Monique Coleman also posted that she was in Tulum, Mexico, over the weekend enjoying “paradise.” This added to the speculation that Coleman was there to support her friend during her big day.
More posts have surfaced in the past few days, proving that the two love birds tied the knot over the weekend.
Romance
The two began their relationship in 2020 through a Zoom meditation group call. The couple made their red carpet debut together in November 2021 during the premiere of Hudgens’ film Tick… Tick… Boom! (2021).
In February, the couple announced their engagement. Hudgens quickly commented on how much she enjoyed the security of being a fiance. “There’s a sense of security. You feel so safe. It’s the best thing ever. I love being a fiancée.”
Although Tucker is quiet about their relationship, Hudgens has been open in interviews and on social media. “Real magnetic love is out there,” Hudgens wrote on Instagram earlier this year. “What a journey it was to get here, but so worth it to get to my forever @cotuck 🥰. Happy Valentine’s Day.”
Planning for the Wedding
During an interview, Hudgens was also vocal about the difficulties of planning the wedding, stating, “I kind of just want to elope. I really, I’m lost.”
Hudgens and friends celebrated with a bachelorette weekend in Aspen, Colorado, to prepare for the wedding.
Although she seemed concerned about where to have the wedding, Hudgens and Tucker seemed to find the perfect location to tie the knot this weekend.
Hudgens Films
Following her work on High School Musical and the sequels, Hudgens released two albums. She also continued to act on television, in movies, and on Broadway.
She starred in the adorable holiday Netflix films The Princess Switch (2018-2021), The Knight Before Christmas (2019), and more recently, Tick, Tick. Boom (2021).
Hudgens Dating Life
Dating wasn’t always easy for Hudgens. She dated Costar Zac Efron from 2006 to 2010. Following their breakup, Hudgens was tied to dating actor Austin Butler from 2011-2020. Finally, she found her happily ever after in 2020 when she met MLB player Cole Tucker.
We wish the two of them all the happiness and joy as they begin their married life together.
