When it comes to the biggest fans, no excuse is needed to dress up for a trip to a Disney Park.
However, there are some rules when it comes to dressing up. Specifically, Guests over the age of 14 are not allowed to arrive in costume because they may be confused with the actual face characters hired by Disney.
During some special events, such as Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Dapper Days, Guests of all ages are encouraged to dress up to their heart’s content!
But as for regular operating hours, a majority of the Guests have to find subtle ways to dress up. Typically, this means ‘Disneybounding,’ which is when Guests wear outfits inspired by Disney characters. These outfits are similar enough to be recognized as a Disney Bound without breaking any rules or causing any confusion.
One fan, in particular, took their love of dressing for a visit to a Disney Park even further and bought custom Disney Vans.
As opposed to a collaboration between Disney and Vans, this Guest went to the official Vans website and created his own custom, Minnie Mouse-inspired shoes.
Whether you’re trying to subtly dress up as your favorite Disney character or simply want to add more Disney magic to your wardrobe, creating custom shoes is a great way to achieve the exact look you want to make.
The best part? You can wear your custom Disney Vans in Walt Disney World and the real world alike!
