Whether visiting Walt Disney World Resort or Universal Orlando Resort, it can’t be denied that the theme parks are some of the most magical places in the world.

Every aspect of each Disney Park and Universal theme park has been carefully curated to be as immersive as possible, transporting Guests into an entirely different world.
So…when emergencies strike while visiting a theme park, it can be incredibly jarring to see.

Emergencies are always frightening, even to bystanders. Unfortunately, they can happen anytime, anywhere, including our favorite theme parks such as Universal Studios Florida.
Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort are incredibly safe places thanks to high security standards, but not every emergency can be prevented.

Unfortunately for some Guests who recently visited Universal Studios Florida, it seems like there was an emergency during the Harry Potter and the Escape From Gringotts attraction.
In this social media post, an anonymous Guest points out that Harry Potter and the Escape From Gringotts ride experienced either a delay or a shutdown. They write,
While we were here, the ride closed for some reason. There were paramedics, security, even actual cops. Anybody know what the [hell] happened? Somebody was literally being carried [on] like a stretcher.

Unfortunately, this is the only information we have to go off of. There’s no way to know exactly what happened, or whether the victim in question is okay or not.
All we know is that the iconic Harry Potter attraction was shut down and that somebody was carried off in a stretcher after security, paramedics, and police showed up.
