Why Guests May Want To Avoid This EPCOT Restaurant
A recent EPCOT visitor was quick to warn emetophobic guests that Connections Eatery may be one to avoid if you suffer from this rare condition. Emetophobia is defined as “a phobia that causes overwhelming, intense anxiety pertaining to vomit.” The guest warns:
“I haven’t seen this posted before, so I just wanted to warn those that are emetephobic (like myself) to that you may want to consider avoiding Connections Eatery at Epcot.
On our visit a few weeks ago, while entering through the doors that open out to Cosmic Rewind, there were multiple people vomitting in in the bushes/on the grass, as well as in the Connections Eatery restroom. It was very triggering and I hope this warning might help prevent panic attacks for other members of the group that struggle with emetephobia.”
Emetophobia is the fear of vomit or vomiting. Being around someone who is ill, seeing vomit or feeling nauseous may make you feel anxious and panicked. If you have a fear of vomiting, it may be difficult to even hear or read the word “vomit.”
So they should avoid that exit not Connections Eatery …
