We all have our favorite Disney collectible items. It might be the newest Loungefly, a fantastic new set of Minnie ears to match your well-planned outfit, or even a popcorn bucket featuring your favorite character or ride. We love it when new collectible items are released, and Disneyland is bringing out the big guns tomorrow with an all-new mug.

Disney Parks announced that a new Ursula mug will be available to add to your unique mug collection for a limited time. On Wednesday, October 18, the mug can be found at Trader Sam’s at Disneyland Resort.

Guests who want to get their fins on this Ursula-inspired mug must do so through mobile ordering via the Disneyland app. Guests can begin mobile ordering as early as 6 a.m. PT, and pick-up times will be between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.

The mug is taken from the iconic scene from The Little Mermaid (1989)where Ariel seeks out the sea witch for help. The tiki mug is similar to the cauldron in Ursula’s Lair. This is where she mixes the potion that allows her to turn Ariel into a human and take her voice while singing “Poor, Unfortunate Souls.”

In the middle of the cauldron is a sphere Ursual uses throughout the movie to view Ariel’s actions. As her two evil eels, Flotsam and Jetsam, follow Ariel, Ursula can see what they do through this sphere.

The new tiki mug is spooky and perfect for the Halloween season. For those who can be at Disneyland during this special release, be ready to get those mobile orders placed early in the morning. This is going to go fast we saw the crazy that happened with the Hatbox Ghost Tiki Mug, and we anticipate this could be the same.

Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar- Disneyland Hotel

This enchanted tiki bar at the Disneyland Hotel is full of adventure and mystery. Legendary explorer Trader Sam decided to go into the bartending business. When not hanging out at the tiki bar, Sam travels the world searching for great ingredients for his magical libations.

Along the way, Sam also collects artifacts that are seen around his tiki bar. Enjoy refreshing cocktails, but know that magic surrounds Trader Sam’s.

Many of the famous drinks created by Sam arrive in specialty cups that go along with the theme of the drink. This newest Ursual-themed cup will be a thrilling addition to the mystery and magic of Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar.

For those visiting Walt Disney World, you can also experience the magic and adventure of Trader Sam’s. At Walt Disney World, Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto is located ideally at Disney’s Polynesian Resort.

Found just steps away from the main lobby of Disney’s Polynesian Resort, Trader Sam’s is the perfect spot for some evening fun. Take the quick monorail ride from the Magic Kingdom and enjoy great entertainment and drinks with friends.

Although there are fun tiki mugs at Walt Disney World’s Trader Sam’s, there has been no announcement about this new Ursula-themed mug arriving.

About Jennifer Retzlaff

My name is Jennifer Retzlaff and I became a lifelong Disney fan during my first trip to Walt Disney World in 6th grade. From that moment, Disney became a big part of my life. I live in Iowa with my husband and two kids who are growing up too quickly for my liking. I started introducing my love for Disney early to my family with a Disney honeymoon and then trips when our youngest of 18 months. Since then, our family has been to Walt Disney World over five times and we continue to plan and dream for the next trip. I love the magic that Disney brings to people through the theme parks, cruises, adventures and movies they create. As a teacher, I try to bring that magic into my classroom to help kids believe that “If You Can Dream It, You Can Do It.” I recently reached a dream of mine as I joined Magic Vacation Planner as a personal travel advisor. With this team, I can now help others plan magical vacations. As a passionate writer, I also have my own blog at magicalvacationsbyjen which is also where you can follow me on instagram for trip reviews along with tips and tricks for your next magical vacation.
