In the Disney film Beauty and the Beast (1991), Gaston is quite unpleasant. Although he’s incredibly handsome, manly, and muscular, he’s also very sexist and misogynistic. He constantly interrupts Belle, the film’s heroine, and although he can hear her talking, he’s never truly listening to her.

Not only that, but he totally disrespects her interests and even throws her favorite book into a muddy puddle. Make no mistake, movie Gaston is like a walking red flag!

However, the character is totally different when you visit a Disney Park and experience a character interaction with Gaston. Typically, Disney Park Gaston is flirty, funny, and sassy.
