However, according to Downy himself, if Kevin Feige and other creative minds at Marvel Studios want him back, he’s more than willing! According to ABC News, “When asked if he’d return as the self-described billionaire, genius, playboy philanthropist Tony Stark, Downey revealed, “Happily. It’s too integral a part of my DNA. That role chose me. And look, I always say, never, ever bet against Kevin Feige. It is a losing bet. He’s the house. He will always win.”

These statements come from a larger interview by Esquire, in which Robery Downey Jr touched on several aspects of his career. However, admitting that he’d be willing to “put back on the jersey” was huge news for MCU fans, as the franchise simply hasn’t felt the same since Iron Man snapped away Thanos. Time will tell!
