A former Disney cast member is warning Disney Park guests about a popular “scam.”

Walt Disney World Resort is known as “The Most Magical Place on Earth” and is home to four immersive theme parks in Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

A family of four enjoys a meal at a restaurant and poses for a photo with a person dressed as Mickey Mouse in a chef outfit. The children and adults are smiling and appear to be having a good time. The table is set with food and drinks.

Each theme park includes different attractions for guests to enjoy. Guests can stroll down Main Street, U.S.A, in the Magic Kingdom and spot Cinderella Castle.

Between the four Disney Parks, there are plenty of attractions to enjoy as well, like “it’s a small world,” Pirates of the Caribbean, Soarin’ Around the World, It’s Tough to be a Bug!, Slinky Dog Dash, Guardians of the Galaxy: Comic Rewind, and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.

Disney World sees thousands of guests daily. With this number of visitors, Disney Parks open at different times and Disney guests staying on Disney properties get special advantages.

Some of these advantages are transportation to Disney Parks and Early Entry.

Mickey Mouse stands in front of a vibrant and colorful backdrop featuring geometric shapes, trees, and a monorail. He wears his classic red shorts, white gloves, black jacket, and a yellow bow tie, smiling and posing with one hand extended.

Disney’s Early Entry

One former cast member went viral on TikTok, warning guests that Early Entry is a “scam.”

While Disney does not scam guests heading there, this former cast member was a greeter and said that Disney does Early Entry as crowd control because it forces all the guests to the back of the theme park.

Another thing she added was that every line is the “Early Entry” line. Yes, guests staying at Disney World can come early to enjoy the Parks, but other guests can go inside and shop or wait next to the ropes, which she called a “second rope drop,” and wait until the castle show for them to open it to the public.

This gives them the advantage of being the first in line for Adventureland and Frontierland attractions, such as Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Jungle Cruise, and Pirates of the Caribbean.

Disney World allows Early Entry for Disney Resort guests if they want lower wait times, but all rides in each Disney Park are not open during this period.

For a full list of rides that are operating during Early Theme Park Admission, please visit the official Disney website.

Though the mornings can sometimes be tumultuous, please remember that Disney cast members are our friends, and we should treat them with respect. Without them, Disney could not function.
