Five Disney Cast Members Take Down Rowdy Teen During Grad Nite at Disneyland
A viral video capturing a tense moment during a recent Grad Nite event at Disneyland Resort has sparked conversation across social media. The footage shows five Disney cast members handling the removal of a teenage guest from the popular Radiator Springs Racers ride in Cars Land.
Grad Nite is an annual tradition at Disney California Adventure Park, held on select nights in May and June. It offers graduating high school seniors exclusive access to the Disney park during late-night hours, with options for daytime Park Hopping or full-day admission prior to the event. While many locals view Grad Nite as a rite of passage, other guests often express frustration over the influx of teenagers during these busy times.
The teen in question, Estevan (@estevann.r on TikTok), posted a video showing himself quoting a popular line from Dance Moms at the five Disney cast members who were explaining why he was being asked to leave the ride. His caption read: “POV: u get kicked out of cars,” and he later referred to the cast members as “Karens.”

The TikTok quickly gained traction, amassing over 138,000 views and hundreds of comments. The overwhelming majority defended the Disney cast members for maintaining order and professionalism.
“I’ve only seen cast members kick people out of lines when people have obviously done something wrong,” @madirayef wrote. “…This is embarrassing for you.”
One Disney cast member commented, “Cm here, removing someone from the ride is the last thing we wanna do. We don’t do it just do it.”
That said, some viewers shared stories of their own negative encounters with cast members during Grad Nite events.
“They were on some bs that night,” @tristen_l0l said. “We got yelled at for screaming on a ride as the people infront of us were screaming.”
Others weighed in with critiques of Grad Nite itself, seeing it as disruptive to the usual Disneyland Resort experience.
“God I hate grad nite,” @asia….asia wrote. “Yall don’t know how to act at all.”
“Grad nite! Enough said! So glad I don’t have to deal with it anymore!” @tjrayjefferson replied. “Fast way to get your school banned!”
While Estevan never clarified why he was removed from Radiator Springs Racers, he later posted videos from other attractions in Disney California Adventure Park, indicating he was not banned entirely.

People will be who they are..you just need to start removing those who don’t want to abide by the rules and dress codes regardless if they are grad students or other park adults. They get away with way too much anymore, shown on social media, then others will try the same thing!
