First Look at Disney’s BRAND NEW Character Meet-and-Greet

As the long-awaited live-action remake of Disney’s classic film, The Little Mermaid (1989), premieres, Disney Parks around the world adjust to the changes.

The Little Mermaid (2023) has finally made a splash into theaters, and so, a more modern Princess Ariel has made a splash into Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort, and even Disneyland Paris!

Beginning today, Guests visiting Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios can meet Princess Ariel at Prince Eric’s castle on a balcony overlooking the sea. This new character meet-and-greet can be found in Walt Disney Presents, which will also showcase some of the concept art created for the film as Guests wait in line.

In Disneyland Resort, Princess Ariel will be making appearances in Disneyland Park’s Fantasyland area, near the classic “it’s a small world” attraction. Here, Guests can meet Ariel in Prince Eric’s library, which is filled with his own “whozits and whatzits” he’s collected during his voyages.

As for Disneyland Paris, Princess Ariel will enchant Guests with an “unforgettable music moment,” according to Disney, in which visitors will get the chance to dance with the beautiful princess.

Now, fans of the original and of the live-action remake can finally experience what it’s like to be part of Ariel’s world with these meet-and-greet opportunities!
