Walt Disney World Resort is known as “The Most Magical Place on Earth,” however some issues, delays, and moments seem less magical than others.
Walt Disney World Resort has several different resorts and hotels for families from all over the world to stay and gather to experience of the magic and wonder of the world-famous theme park. But on this particular day, the magic of Disney World met with an unexpected interruption when the fire alarm went off. The cheerful atmosphere turned into one of concern and urgency as Guests and employees alike were thrust into a situation they had not anticipated.

This list includes but is not limited to: Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, Disney’s Beach Club Resort, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort and several others. Each Disney Resort has different amenities.

Staying at a Disney World resort has its own magical extras. Disney World guests can enjoy early access to Disney Parks, complimentary transportation to and from Disney Parks, and the convenience of MagicBands, which serve as a key, park ticket, and payment method.
Guests planning a stay at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge can experience the extraordinary wonders of this Disney resort, which offers a truly unique and immersive experience for guests seeking adventure, relaxation, and a close encounter with African wildlife. Guests can request a Savannah view room, which allows them breathtaking savanna views. Many rooms and public spaces provide unobstructed views of four lush savannas that are home to over 30 species of African wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, gazelles, and ostriches. Guests can sip their morning coffee on their balcony while watching giraffes graze just a few yards away.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge boasts a diverse array of dining experiences, including Boma – Flavors of Africa, where guests can savor a buffet of African and American dishes, and Jiko – The Cooking Place, an upscale restaurant that offers a fusion of African, Indian, and Mediterranean flavors. Sanaa, located in the adjacent Kidani Village, lets diners enjoy delicious cuisine while watching animals graze on the savanna.

With all these exciting amenities at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, accidents can still happen occasionally. In a social media post, guests staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge had to be evacuated due to a fire alarm going off. Guests could see others flooding the parking lot as one would joke like a pack of wildebeest.
“I got to Jambo house from the Magic Kingdom and saw people flooding into Jambo from the parking lot like a pack of wildebeests,” one guest shared.
Throughout this ordeal, Disney’s Cast Members shone brightly. Cast Members were on hand to reassure guests and answer questions. Once the all-clear was given, Guests could return to their rooms. This was most likely a false alarm, but nothing has been confirmed on why the alarms went off at the Disney resort.
