2023 is a very special year for the Walt Disney Company. This year, Disney is celebrating its 100th anniversary, making it clear that the magic of Walt Disney’s imagination has transcended generations. All year long, both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort are celebrating all of the magic that has been brought into the world for the past century.

Disney Parks Celebrate the 100th Celebration.
Disneyland Resort, consisting of the iconic Disneyland Park and the enchanting Disney California Adventure Park, has always embraced the spirit of Walt Disney’s imagination. It is here that visitors were first transported into a realm of fantasy and imagination, where they can experience the magic and charm of beloved Disney characters and stories.
Being the first Disney Park, fans knew that Disneyland Park was going to have something extra special added to celebrate this momentous anniversary. Wondrous Journeys, an all-new fireworks show that celebrates every single feature film that has been produced by Walt Disney Studios, did just that.

When Wondrous Journeys premiered earlier this year, fans were floored by just how incredible this show was. Some fans have even gone as far as to say it is Disney’s best nighttime spectacular ever. The high praise is part of the reason why fans are so devastated to see it leave Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Is Wondrous Journey’s Coming Back?!
On August 31, 2023, fans said goodbye to the iconic show. In its place will be the Halloween Screams show, which is set to play through October 31. After that, a Holiday show will take its place.

While most fans think that Wondrous Journeys will once again return after the Holiday season, many do find it quite strange that Disney has yet to confirm this formally. the lack of confirmation has made fans feel uneasy about the future of this new show.
Hopefully, this show will come back in 2024. Clearly, the demand is there, and Disney would be making a mistake by now bringing it back!
