Although the original poster gives Universal Orlando Resort a scathing review, the comments come to the theme park’s rescue, describing why they prefer Universal Studios Orlando and Islands of Adventure to a Disney Park.
One fan points out that the Virtual Queue system at Walt Disney World can be disruptive and confusing: “It’s nice at Universal not having to plan your entire day around timed ride entries. We always stay at a Universal hotel so we get to use the FastPass lines which is also a huge bonus.”
They also point out that Universal gives Guests FastPass privileges while staying at a Universal Resort hotel without extra costs.

Other fans pointed out that Universal is overall more cost-friendly, giving Guests more bang for their buck. Guests don’t need to wake up super early to reserve Lightning Lanes, nor do they need to schedule Park Reservations, making a trip to Universal much easier.
