Responding to an audience member’s inquiry about potential future projects on Broadway or the big screen, DeGeneres provided a definitive answer: “Um, no,” she stated, according to SFGATE. “This is the last time you’re going to see me. After my Netflix special, I’m done.” This declaration suggests a conscious decision to step back from the Hollywood spotlight, opting instead for the intimacy and creative freedom of stand-up comedy.

However, this decision doesn’t come from a place of discontent.
