Located in Frontierland off the shores of the Rivers of America, Tom Sawyer Island can only be accessed by rafts which launch opposite the entrances to Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. This amazing location is never crowded and offers guests the opportunity to enjoy some relaxing quiet time exploring all the island has to offer. Guests first get a glimpse of the impressive Gracey Manor before walking along a path with sweeping views of the Rivers of America. Once in the graveyard proper, guests are introduced to various former residents at the mansion and can observe their unique tombstones. Along the way there are also interactive elements such as a creepy organ and a poet beyond the grave who needs help completing some lines. With so much to do and see on the line, guests might even forget that they haven’t entered into the actual attraction yet!
