Magic Kingdom is known far and wide for hosting nearly all of Walt Disney World Resort’s most classic attractions and for the nightly nighttime spectacular shows.
When Guests first arrive at the theme park entrance and walk down Main Street, U.S.A, to see the Cinderella Castle gleaming in the distance, it doesn’t take much to get excited thinking about the Magic Kingdom fireworks.
However, not everyone is as thrilled by a firework show. In fact, one recent thread on social media proves that many Guests prefer to take advantage of the short lines brought on by the fireworks show at Magic Kingdom.

One Reddit user writes, “We almost always ride rides. You really just can’t beat how short the lines are.”
Another Reddit user quickly responds with their experience, writing, “Last time, we got in line for seven dwarves mine train during the fireworks. Wait time was like 20 minutes.”
Many fans throughout the thread mentioned that the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad provides an excellent view of the fireworks. One Reddit user, in particular, wrote, “If I’m in magic kingdom I always try to be on Big Thunder during the fireworks. Best way to end the night for me!”

Although many fans scramble to find a good spot for the Disney fireworks, we can’t deny that taking advantage of the short lines is a great way to feel the Disney magic too!
After all, who wants to wait in a crazy long line for a classic attraction such as Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, or the Haunted Mansion?
