The holidays are in full swing in Central Florida. Every theme park, from Sea World Orlando and Universal Studios Orlando to the Walt Disney World Resort, is decked out in its holiday best and prepped and ready for the festive holiday crowds that make their way to the theme parks every holiday season.
Disney World is expecting a festive turnout of Guests this holiday season. Many who are coming this year didn’t make it to the parks last year because of the pandemic or because so many things were canceled or because of other reasons that kept them from visiting.

Guests of the Walt Disney World Resort during the holiday season look forward to seeing more than 1,300 Christmas trees, festive ornaments, boughs of holly, huge bows, hundreds of thousands of dazzling Christmas lights, and of course, Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and other beloved characters dressed in their holiday best for the season.

But last week, some Guests encountered a character at the Walt Disney World that not only seemed like he was possibly disoriented and in the wrong Central Florida theme park, but also out of place completely as he’s not one to celebrate and make merry during the Christmas season. (I mean, seriously, they made a whole movie about it!) And on top of that, he was sitting in the passenger seat of an Orange County Sheriff’s vehicle.

@SirBrayden tweeted a short video of the Grinch seated in the passenger seat of a cruiser that belongs to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. “We got a suspicious individual out here!” he tweeted with the video.

We don’t know if it was too much eggnog or not enough sleep that landed the Grinch in the wrong Central Florida park. Perhaps the Grinch has chosen to spend his holidays at the Walt Disney World Resort, rather than at Universal, because everyone knows Christmas is more fun at Disney World!
