If you’ve visited Disneyland Resort recently, you’ve probably noticed the long security lines that build up near the parking structures. Luckily, one savvy Disney Park guest has shared a clever way to bypass the wait!

TikToker Connor Eksteen (@connoreksteen) posted a video showing his “hack” for avoiding the notoriously crowded security checkpoints:

He started by pointing out the situation most Disney Parks fans are familiar with: “The lines to get into Disney right now are absolutely mind-blowing, so we’re going to be trying a different way to get into the parks because I’m not waiting in that line.” Rather than heading through the main parking area security checkpoint, Connor chose a different route to skip the long lines.

Following signage that reads “walkway to Downtown Disney and theme parks,” Connor bypassed the usual checkpoints and made his way to Downtown Disney. He entered through the Downtown Disney security entrance and then hopped on the Monorail for a quick ride into Disneyland Park. (For those interested, guests also have the option to walk directly to Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park from Downtown Disney without needing to board the Monorail.)

“Honestly, I’d rather much be walking than standing in a line with a bunch of people,” Connor explained. He saved around 25 minutes using this method: “It took me like five minutes to get through security instead of waiting for like 30 minutes in that line and then having to get on the tram.” Connor’s Downtown Disney route might be the perfect solution for guests who prefer moving over waiting in a crowd!

Many Disney Parks fans were quick to comment on the tip, though some worried that the trick might lose its effectiveness if too many people catch on. “Okay I know now, you can delete this!!” joked one user, while another playfully scolded, “You gave away the tip; how dare you!”
