Disney Doesn’t Back Down From “Diversity and Inclusion,” Confirms 2025 Pride Celebrations

Disneyland Resort is getting a head start on Pride Month. While the official celebration doesn’t begin until June, the Southern California Disney park has already started transforming the Downtown Disney District with rainbow displays honoring the LGBTQIA+ community.

This year, Disneyland Resort is bringing back the highly anticipated Disneyland After Dark: Pride Nite event on June 16 and June 18, 2025. The special ticketed event gives guests after-hours access to Disneyland Park, along with exclusive themed offerings. In addition to shorter wait times for attractions, guests can enjoy character meet and greets with Disney icons in rainbow-themed outfits, unique photo ops with free PhotoPass downloads, and exclusive nighttime entertainment like the “Welcome Pride Cavalcade,” “Disneyland After Dark: Pride Nite Fireworks – WELCOME!” and the Pride Musical Celebration.

Admission to Pride Nite includes early park entry starting at 6:00 p.m., with the official event running from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Tickets are available now, costing $169 per guest aged 3 and older. Limited-edition merchandise and themed food and drink options will also be available throughout Disneyland Park during the event.

Even if you can’t make it to Disneyland After Dark: Pride Nite, the rest of the Southern California Disney park is celebrating Pride Month as well. Guests can expect rainbow-themed decorations, specialty snacks, and exclusive merchandise at various locations throughout Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, and the Downtown Disney District.

A few days ago, Disneyland Resort installed one of its most popular Pride Month displays in Downtown Disney. X (formerly Twitter) user @DisneyScoopGuy shared photos of the rainbow Mickey Mouse topiary that returned earlier this month:

The pride month floral display was put up in Downtown Disney overnight!

Next to the Mickey topiary, a sign explains the meaning behind the colorful installation: “Celebrate diversity and inclusion at the Disneyland Resort with a Downtown Disney District installation inspired by Colombian floral arrangements called silletas (see-yeh-tahs). This silleta honors the Disneyland Resort PRIDE BERG, which fosters an environment where all LGBTQIA+ cast members feel encouraged to be their true, authentic selves. The Disney PRIDE BERG advocates, celebrates, and educates on behalf of their community, fostering a culture of authenticity and inclusivity.”

Disneyland Resort’s Pride Month decorations are expected to remain through June 30, 2025.

  1. I once was at the gay days disneyland. I am happy to see inclusion continue. There is no reason for any business or entities to stop celebrating inclusion. Everyone should be welcomed.

  2. I really have to laugh at Disney’s hypocrisy… we’re still going to celebrate pride celebrations but we’re going to build a park in Abu Dhabi.. hilarious
Going to get my chair and a big box of popcorn to watch the pride celebrations in the new park! LoL
