An unruly Disneyland guest recently caused chaos at “The Happiest Place on Earth.”
Disneyland Resort is a beloved and iconic theme park located in Anaheim, California. Opened on July 17, 1955, by Walt Disney himself, Disneyland has since enchanted millions of guests with its captivating attractions at both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure.
Being a popular tourist destination, guest behavior tends to escalate with crowds, large events, and during busier times of the year.
Disneyland Resort strives to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests. There are rare occasions when individuals engage in behavior that violates park rules or compromises the safety of others. In such cases, Disneyland security and, if necessary, local law enforcement may intervene to address the situation.
Inside the Magic previously covered Disneyland, closing several attractions due to a violent guest. This guest allegedly assaulted multiple cast members. The altercation, which became violent, forced the closure of Fantasyland at the park, with security redirecting all guests.
Marina (@matchamarina on TikTok) captured a brief video showing police officers restraining a male at Disneyland.
@matchamarina Guy got arrested last night at disneyland. We came at the end. There were 4 disney security guards on top of him until anaheim pd came. It seemed like he was violently fighting Disney security. Took officers a long time to get him under control, they eventually put him in a wheelchair to get him out but he kept resisting. #disneylandcalifornia #disneylandresort #disneyland
Disneyland is normally known for its range of thrilling to classic rides like “it’s a small world” and Pirates of the Caribbean to thrilling adventures like Space Mountain and Indiana Jones Adventure. Additionally, Disneyland hosts captivating shows, parades, and character meet-and-greets.
Instances that may warrant guest removal from Disneyland parks include disruptive behavior, intoxication, aggression towards other guests or cast members, vandalism, and other forms of misconduct. When confronted with such behavior, Disneyland security personnel will typically approach the individual in question and attempt to de-escalate the situation peacefully.
While Disneyland works hard to protect guests, when they remove a guest from Disneyland parks, it is done with the safety and well-being of all guests and cast members in mind, ensuring that the magic and enjoyment of the park can be preserved for everyone.
Disneyland guests who are removed from the parks for any form of physical violence or aggression towards other guests, cast members, or property are not tolerated at Disneyland. Guests who engage in such behavior risk being permanently banned from the park.
