Disney World’s Jollywood Nights Finally Adds What Fans Asked For

If you went to Jollywood Nights during its debut, chances are you left thinking, “That was fun, but…was that it?” The holiday event at Disney’s Hollywood Studios had all the glamor and potential—but not quite enough time to enjoy it. And fans were quick to speak up.

Turns out, Disney actually listened.

A Long-Awaited Fix Is Here

One of the biggest gripes guests had last year was the limited party time. The event didn’t even let people through the gates until 7:30 p.m., giving guests just five fast-moving hours to experience everything. That meant rushing from a show to a snack cart to a character meet-and-greet while constantly checking your watch.

This year, Disney is fixing that. Starting in 2025, Jollywood Nights guests will be allowed to enter the park starting at 5:30 p.m. That gives everyone two more hours to soak up the atmosphere, grab dinner, or hop on a ride before the exclusive party offerings even begin.

Party Dates Are Set

If you’re already eyeing a trip, here are the nights you’ll want to circle on your calendar:
November 8, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29
December 1, 6, 10, 13, 17, 20, 22

Expect plenty of festive entertainment, themed snacks, character appearances, and a bit more of that jazzy, vintage holiday flair that sets Jollywood apart from Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party over in Magic Kingdom.

New Offerings Add Even More Magic

More time isn’t the only upgrade. This year’s event includes some fresh additions—like a new meet-and-greet with Miguel from Coco, set in a Latin holiday-themed area. It’s a thoughtful and exciting step in expanding the cultural touchstones of the event.

Two shows from last year are also making waves again:

Throw in returning favorites like Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!, the Nightmare Before Christmas sing-along, and a holiday show with Kermit and Miss Piggy, and you’ve got a seriously stacked night of entertainment.

Tickets Go Fast—So Don’t Wait

If you’re staying at a Disney Resort, Swan & Dolphin, or Shades of Green, you can grab tickets starting July 16. Everyone else can book beginning July 22. And with these upgrades, don’t be surprised if this year’s parties sell out quicker than before.

Bottom line: If you skipped Jollywood Nights because it felt rushed, 2025 might just be the year it turns the corner.
