A new character is coming to Magic Kingdom, and others are returning–some we don’t see very often at any of the Disney World theme parks (especially since Fantasmic! has been gone). These beloved characters will only add to the Most Magical Celebration on Earth, honoring the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World’s opening! Let’s get to it!
Some of our favorite characters–many that we don’t see very often, especially at Magic Kingdom–will be making daily appearances at the park where it all began!
Beginning on February 11, a brand-new cavalcade of characters is coming to Magic Kingdom. The all-new “Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade” will see nearly 30 beloved Disney and PIXAR characters to the forecourt at Cinderella Castle, including Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps from Disney’s Zootopia, Baloo and King Louie from Disney’s The Jungle Book, Jose Carioca and Panchito from Disney’s The Three Caballeros, as well as Merida, Moana, The Incredibles, Woody and Jessie, Aladdin and Genie, Marie from Disney’s The Aristocats, and more!

And guess which character is making his Magic Kingdom debut?
It’s Miguel from PIXAR’s Coco, dressed in his traditional mariachi best! It will be Miguel’s very first time to appear at Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World, and what a great addition he’ll make to all the magic of the Resort’s 50th anniversary celebration festivities!
When Disney World’s Most Magical Celebration began on October 1, we were told that Disney would continue to add more excitement and more surprises to the celebration, which lasts for 18 full months–all the way through March 31, 2023! We are so excited about the new characters who’ll be part of exciting new entertainment offerings at Magic Kingdom, and we can’t wait to see what else Disney has in store for the World’s Most Magical Celebration!
