Walt Disney World is a buzz with excitement as it celebrates the Walt Disney Company’s 100th Anniversary of Animation. Remastered classics on Disney+, new Park merchandise, and much more have been part of the festivities so far, but much of what Guests have seen has been limited to Magic Kingdom. That is about to change as Disney Parks has revelead that new experiences for the Disney 100 will take place at EPCOT beginning in September. Starting September 22 through December 31 of this year, EPCOT will take center stage in the Disney 100 celebration at Walt Disney World. Celebrate Disney’s animation innovation in brand-new ways as EPCOT’s celebration will also mark the official wrap-up of their ongoing Park overhaul.

You’ll want to remember your EPCOT day, and Disney has ensured that you can immortalize this special celebration in more ways than one. Stop by and snag a selfie with a new platinum Mickey Mouse sculpture in World Celebration. Be sure to take advantage of the different Disney 100 Magic Shot and Photopass offerings. In addition, a new mural will allow Guests to put their eyes to the test as they search to see how many characters they locate along the walkway to World Showcase. Each night, Spaceship Earth with unique colors and lights. The dazzling show will be accompanied by the Disney 100 anthem, “When You Wish Upon a Star.” The new take on this Disney classic song is a distinctive rendition specifically made for the Disney 100 and sure to please EPCOT Guests.

Whether it’s delicious food and beverages, hanging with Mickey Mouse, or getting your hands on those rare merchandise items, EPCOT is set to celebrate the Disney 100 in a big way. You won’t want to miss out as the event is short-lived compared to other Disney celebrations and will surely be a big hit with fans. This means that many of the offerings will only be around for a short amount of time, including merchandise.
