Disney World Permanently Closing Popular Snack Shops October 2025

Disney has officially set the final closure date for Trilo-Bites, with the venue closing its doors on October 20, 2025. This beloved eatery, known for its delightful snacks, will be missed by many who frequent Animal Kingdom. For those who wish to enjoy one last treat from Trilo-Bites, the last chance to visit will be on October 19, 2025.

As Trilo-Bites prepares to close, guests will need to adjust their dining plans. While this closure might initially seem like a loss, visitors will still have access to select menu items available at other spots throughout Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Options such as Eight Spoons Cafe and Tamu Tamu Refreshments will continue to cater to guests with familiar favorites.

With the closing of Trilo-Bites, a broader transformation is underway. Disney has introduced the Tropical Americas concept as part of the renewed vision for DinoLand U.S.A. This strategic shift marks an exciting time for the park, moving away from its dinosaur-themed attractions to showcase more universally recognized intellectual properties (IPs).

Key attractions related to the Tropical Americas theme will include an Indiana Jones ride and an all-new attraction centered around Disney’s popular film, Encanto. This pivotal shift away from dinosaurs not only revitalizes a long-criticized section of the park but also integrates beloved characters and storylines that resonate with visitors of all ages.

DinoLand is set to undergo significant changes, with plans for a permanent closure taking effect on February 2, 2026. This transformation promises to enhance the overall experience within the park while ensuring that Disney continues to innovate and captivate its audience.

Upcoming Attractions and Changes

As Disney’s Animal Kingdom evolves, guests can look forward to exciting new experiences. With the introduction of attractions like the Indiana Jones ride, visitors will discover a fresh take on adventure, drawing upon classic film narratives that have enthralled audiences for decades.
Additionally, the Encanto ride is set to enchant guests with the vibrant storytelling and rich visuals characteristic of the Disney experience.

Furthermore, Disney’s Hollywood Studios is not left out of this grand transformation. Plans are in place for the expansion of the park, which will introduce Monstropolis Land inspired by Pixar’s Monsters Inc. This addition aims to bring even more immersive experiences to guests, featuring unique attractions, enhanced dining options, and new entertainment.

The introduction of these new lands marks one of the most ambitious expansions in Disney history, making it an exhilarating time for both new and returning guests.

Though changes in beloved attractions like Trilo-Bites might initially cause some concern among visitors, Disney is committed to enhancing the overall guest experience during this transition. Alternative dining options, such as Eight Spoons Cafe and Tamu Tamu Refreshments, will serve as excellent replacements for those looking to enjoy the park’s offerings.
