Disney World Is Changing Another Hollywood Studios Ride Starting November 4

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is getting another seasonal change this year, and this one is heading straight to Toy Story Land.

The holidays already bring plenty of differences to Walt Disney World, from decorations and seasonal food to special entertainment that disappears once Christmas is over. Disney also likes to change some of its existing attractions for the season, giving returning guests a slightly different reason to ride something they’ve experienced before.

Alien Swirling Saucers is next in line.

Beginning November 4, the Toy Story Land attraction will swap in a collection of festive songs that will remain through January 6.

The change also comes at an interesting time for this section of Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Lilypad from Toy Story 5(2026) was recently added near Alien Swirling Saucers, so guests already have something new to discover in the area.

Now, Disney is preparing another limited-time addition.

Four Holiday Songs Are Coming to the Ride

Guests riding Alien Swirling Saucers during the holiday season will hear four seasonal songs.

The lineup includes “Toyland,” “Deck the Halls,” “Swirling, Swirling Saucers,” and “Joy to the Swirl.”

Alien Swirling Saucers already relies heavily on music to create its energetic atmosphere, making a soundtrack change an easy way for Disney to give the attraction a different feel without dramatically altering the ride itself.

Guests will still board their rocket ships and spin around with the Little Green Men. This time, however, Christmas music will accompany the experience.

The seasonal songs will stick around for approximately two months before the holiday run ends January 6.

That makes this another experience guests will only be able to find during a specific portion of the year.

Toy Story Land Recently Welcomed Lilypad

Alien Swirling Saucers isn’t the only recent change in this corner of Toy Story Land.

Lilypad, an interactive character from Toy Story 5 (2026), recently arrived near the attraction. That addition brought something from the latest Toy Story movie into a land that originally opened years before the new film.

With Lilypad now in place and a holiday soundtrack coming to Alien Swirling Saucers, returning guests will have a couple of new things to check out.

Neither addition completely transforms Toy Story Land, but together they help keep the area changing.

The timing also gives holiday visitors another reason to explore beyond the land’s biggest attractions.

Disney Is Expanding Its Holiday Attraction Changes

Seasonal attraction overlays certainly aren’t new for Disney World.

Jungle Cruise has transformed into Jingle Cruise, while Space Mountain has received special holiday effects during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT is also getting holiday music this year. Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets will receive its own limited-time holiday treatment.

That puts Alien Swirling Saucers among several attractions getting temporary changes for the season.

These overlays can be particularly appealing to repeat visitors. Someone who has already ridden an attraction several times may not normally consider it a priority, but a temporary soundtrack or seasonal experience gives that guest something different to try.

For Alien Swirling Saucers, the change is relatively simple. But sometimes a new soundtrack is all it takes to make a familiar attraction worth another ride.

Guests will have from November 4 through January 6 to hear the holiday songs for themselves.

After that, this seasonal spin through Toy Story Land will come to an end.
