Disney World Confirms Multiple Replacements at Saratoga Springs Resort
Walt Disney World is preparing to reopen The Turf Club Bar and Grill at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, but returning guests won’t find everything exactly as they remember it.
The restaurant officially reopens September 30 following its refurbishment. Ahead of that return, Disney has revealed an updated menu that replaces several familiar offerings across nearly every category.
Some changes are relatively small. Others completely remove dishes that previously had a place on The Turf Club menu.
Several Familiar Entrées Are Being Replaced
The biggest replacements can be found among the entrées.
Disney has removed the Bourbon-Apple Glazed Pork Chop and replaced it with a Braised Pork Shank. The new dish features New York cheddar grits and bacon-bourbon glaze.

The Char-grilled New York Strip Steak is also gone. In its place, guests will find a Char-grilled Butcher’s Steak with roasted garlic mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and house-made steak sauce.
Disney has replaced the Tempura-fried Hen of the Wood Mushroom with plant-based Spinach and Mushroom Linguini.
Even the chicken selection is changing. The previous Buttermilk-fried Herb Chicken has been replaced by Corn Flake-breaded Fried Chicken and Waffle, served with roasted jalapeño maple syrup and candied bacon butter.
The restaurant will retain other selections, including Slow-roasted Prime Rib, Smoked Salmon-wrapped Halibut, Pappardelle Shrimp Pasta, and the Turf Club Burger.

Disney Completely Changes the Dessert Menu
Dessert is where returning guests will notice some of the most significant differences.
Disney has completely revamped the dessert selection.
The Signature Chocolate Cake has been replaced by Chocolate-Hazelnut Cake, while the New York-style Cheesecake has given way to Vanilla Bean Cheesecake.
Salted Caramel Crème Brûlée is being replaced by Salted Caramel Pot de Crème, and the Seasonal Cobbler is gone in favor of a plant-based Apple Tart.
Changes extend to appetizers and drinks as well. The Onion Ring Tower has been removed as Crispy Chicken Wings join the menu. Several entrée enhancements, including Caramelized Scallops with Bacon Glaze, Parmesan-crusted Shrimp, and the Turf Club Butter Board, have also disappeared.
Meanwhile, new cocktails include the Saratoga Cocktail, New York Old Fashioned, and Grandstand Martini.
The Turf Club Lounge already reopened last month, meaning the September 30 return of The Turf Club Bar and Grill will complete the comeback of this dining area.
The restaurant’s racing-inspired atmosphere isn’t disappearing, but the menu guests find inside will be noticeably different.
For anyone returning to Saratoga Springs after the refurbishment, an old favorite is coming back with several new replacements waiting at the table.
