Disney Treasure Gets New Addition

Disney fans anxiously await the newest Disney Cruise Line ship’s arrival to the Disney fleet. The Disney Treasure will begin sailing at the end of 2024. We are thrilled to see a new addition to this outstanding ship marking another step towards being ready for sailing.

The massive forward funnel arrived at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany. This is a big step in the construction of the Disney Treasure. Fans of Disney Cruise Line have enjoyed watching as this newest ship continues to reach significant milestones in the construction process.

This newest ship features Peter Pan and Captain Hook as the ship’s stern characters.

This new Disney ship is where the adventures from Disney films and the Disney parks will come together to create a magical experience for guests.

The Disney Treasure will set sail at the beginning of December 2024. Heading out on 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries, guests have numerous opportunities to experience this fantastic new ship.

The Disney Treasure will leave out of Port Canaveral, Florida, making it an excellent option for those wanting to visit Walt Disney World. During the 7-night Eastern Caribbean Cruise, the ship will stop at Tortola, British Virgin Island; San Juan, Puerto Rico or St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands; and Disney Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island of adventure and magic.

During the 7-night Western Caribbean Cruises, guests can enjoy stops at Cozumel, Mexico; George Town, Grand Cayman; Falmouth, Jamaica; and Disney Castaway Cay.

With seven days, guests will have ample opportunity to experience the amazing new ship and fantastic destinations throughout the Caribbean.

Dining on the Disney Treasure

New dining experiences will be coming to the Disney Treasure for guests to experience during their cruise experience. A first theatrical dining experience featuring Coco (2017) will bring the story of Miguel and his family to the ship at the Plaza de Coco. Celebrate togetherness and family during this meal, including traditional Mexican fare and live entertainment.

The Marvel-themed dining location, Worlds of Marvel, will be featured on the Disney Treasure. Focused on Avengers characters and stories, this superhero dining experience is full of adventure and an expansive menu.

Coming from Disney Wish,1923 is the third dining location that will be found on board the Disney Treasure. Named for the founding year of Walt Disney Animation Studios, this experience will focus on animation’s impact throughout the years. A Hollywood glamor style brings this upscale dining location to guests during sailing.

These three restaurants will be part of the evening rotational dining experience. With seven nights, guests will have multiple opportunities to experience these entertaining dining locations.

Magical Entertainment on the Disney Treasure

The magic of a Disney Cruise is found in the live shows that take place each evening on the ship. Guests can enjoy Beauty and the Beast and Disney Seas the Adventure when sailing on the Disney Treasure.

Guests will also be able to enjoy the water coaster Aquamouse. This water coaster includes a show featuring an all-new Mickey and Minnie short called Curse of the Golden Egg. The Aquamouse is a thrilling adventure that the whole family can enjoy together.

The Disney Treasure will be full of adventure and magic for everyone on board. From fantastic dining experiences to unique shows and a wide variety of entertainment, guests who sail the Disney Treasure will be in for a magical time.
