Hong Kong Disneyland is preparing for the opening of the new land, World of Frozen. Inspired by the beloved movie Frozen (2013), World of Frozen is scheduled to open on November 20. This land will include two new attractions, delicious food choices, and many magical experiences.
Let’s head to Arendelle to discover what we can enjoy when this new land opens next month in Hong Kong Disneyland.
World of Frozen
This beautiful new land in Hong Kong Disneyland will have two different sections. Guests will be able to experience both the Arendelle Village and the Arendelle Forest. The Arendelle Village will feature the iconic Arendelle Castle, where Elsa and Anna live. Guests can walk through the village, transporting themselves into the movie.
Take the King Agnarr Bridge (named after Anna and Elsa’s father) over to the forest side of the land. Here, guests will experience Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs, Traveling Traders, and more.
Finding Frozen Characters
When visiting the World of Frozen, guests will be able to meet some of the beloved characters from the movie. Playhouse in the Woods is where Elsa, Anna, and Olaf will entertain guests for the first time in forever in an all-new, engaging theatrical experience.
Singing, projecting mapping, and special effects will create a sensory experience that guests won’t want to miss out on.
Kristoff and Oaken don’t want to be left out of the fun. They will also be around to entertain guests. Stop by to say “hoo hoo” to Oaken or talk to Kristoff about Sven and the trolls.
Attractions in World of Frozen
A family-friendly coaster, Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs, is an exclusive experience for Hong Kong Disneyland. Travel through the Trading Post before boarding a sleigh and heading out on an exciting journey through the forest. The ride will provide stunning views of the land.
Frozen Ever After, as seen in EPCOT at Walt Disney World, will also be opening in World of Frozen. This slow-moving, but magical, boat ride will take guests up the North Mountain to take in the beauty of Elsa’s Ice Palace.
These two rides are full of new, outstanding technology that is a first for Hong Kong Disneyland. Disney Parks Blog stated, “These characters have been brought to life like never before with the most technologically advanced Audio-Animatronics figures ever at Hong Kong Disneyland.”
Guests visiting Walt Disney World have seen these lifelike robots in Frozen After Ever in EPCOT, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Avatar: Flight of Passage in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. guests in Hong Kong Disneyland have not yet been able to take in these fantastic robots.
From the new rides to delicious new food, World of Frozen is a magical new land that we can’t wait to see open its doors to guests.
