Last week, the first-ever nonstop flight from Orange County, Florida, to Orange County, California, gave passengers of all ages a double-dose of Disney magic as it departed Disney World and arrived at Disneyland.

Well, almost.

In a first for any airline last Thursday, Breeze Airways offered nonstop service from Orlando International Airport (MCO) near Disney World in Central Florida to John Wayne Airport (SNA) near Disneyland Resort in Southern California, aboard the first of its kind “Disney to Disney” flight. But if you want to call it the “Orange County to Orange County” (or theme park to theme park) flight, we’ll allow that too.

Breeze Airways began service in 2021 as an airline created with customers in mind. It joins a growing list of budget-friendly carriers like Southwest Airlines, JetBlue, and Spirit Airlines. The company features flights to and from “underserved” destinations and prides itself on being a different kind of air carrier–the new, “seriously nice” airline that makes things easy for passengers. The airline allows customers the luxury of making cancellations or rebookings up to 15 minutes before the flight’s departure.

Visitors to Disneyland and the Walt Disney World Resort can relax in comfort aboard any of the airline’s fleet, which includes the Airbus A220-300, the Embraer E190, and the Embraer E195.

Together, we created Breeze Airways–a new airline merging technology with kindness. Breeze provides nonstop service between underserved routes across the U.S. at affordable fares. With seamless booking, no change or cancellation fees, and customized flight features delivered via a sleek and simple app, Breeze makes it easy to buy and easy to fly.
