Many Disney fans have dreamed about becoming a star. Maybe it would be starring in your favorite Disney show or taking the stage at one of the parks. These Disney dreams could come true for some as Disney begins a search for performers.
Disney Auditions
If you have been thinking and dreaming about a career with Disney, you can head to their website HERE. It is through this website that dreamers can look for available auditions throughout the Disney Company. The site provides various audition options, from the domestic parks of Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resort to options overseas at Disneyland Paris and Tokyo Disney Resort or out on the sea with Disney Cruise Line.
The main categories for auditions include actors, dancers, character performers, look-alike musicians, parade performers, singers, and stunts. Once on the main page, viewers can narrow their search by category, park, or city.
Currently, there are thirty-eight different events throughout the Disney Company. These positions being searched range from open auditions in Copenhagen, Denmark, for Disneyland Paris to main stage performer auditions in New York for the Disney Cruise Line.
If you select the audition, you are given more details about the requirements and expectations. Additional information shows the role expectations, what they seek, how to sign up, job requirements, and appointment times.
New Posting
A new posting caught the attention of many Disney fans living in Anaheim. Disneyland Resort is looking for performers to bring sensational entertainment to life from 4*Town. Those wanting to be part of the audition process can submit forms online through November 30.
The focus is to find someone to play Tae Young (5’7”-5’9”), the youngest member of 4*Town and known as the “Cute One.” A lover of animals, Tae Young, is dedicated to wildlife rehabilitation and has personally fostered injured doves between tours.
Disney Live Entertainment states that this position will be in special events and appearances throughout the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA.
No. 4*Town
This band stole many’s hearts when they appeared in Turning Red (2022). The band is designed to show the fangirling over a boy band. Mei and her teenage friends experience the excitement and passion for this band as many did for Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, BTS, and other similar bands.
4*Town has five members, with Robaire as the group leader with his singing and dancing talent. The other four members are Aaron T, Aaron Z, Tae Young, and Jesse. Together, the band plays a huge role in the film as Mei and her friends head to the SkyDome for a concert.
As Disneyland continues to adjust California Adventure Park areas, we hope that by bringing Tae Young into the park for special experiences, we will see more of Turning Red in the parks.
