Disney Resort Closes Indefinitely Due to COVID

On Monday, October 31, Guests visiting Shanghai Disneyland were shocked when the Resort locked its gates and would not allow them to leave until they had been tested for COVID-19 and received a negative result. This is not the first time that Shanghai Disneyland has closed and required Guests inside to take Coronavirus tests, but the last time, it was a training exercise. This time, the government was extremely serious, and shortly after it was announced that Guests needed a negative COVID result before they could leave, Shanghai Disney announced that it would be closing indefinitely, effective immediately.
