PIXAR’s Lightyear hit the box office on Friday, and Disney has announced new offerings at Disney Parks and at shopDisney that will have Guests and fans young and old feeling that “to infinity and beyond” spirit of adventure!
For starters, Guests of the Disneyland Resort in California will be able to say hello (and salute) Captain Buzz Lightyear in Tomorrowland. He’s just landed, and he’s ready to share his adventures with fans of all ages!

Can’t make it to the parks just yet? That’s ok! You can have your very own intergalactic experience at shopDisney.com, where several Lightyear-inspired items have landed. Fans of all ages will be able to find the perfect gift for themselves or someone else that keep the adventure of Lightyear alive–to infinity and beyond!

We love Buzz Lightyear’s adorable companion, Sox the cat (who has given us Baymax vibes up to this point). You can find Sox at shopDisney.com in his plush form–perfect for bringing home the fun and the heart of the new Lightyear film.
Other additions at shopDisney (which will also be coming to the Disneyland Resort and the Walt Disney World Resort shortly) include the Laser Blade Buzz Lightyear Talking Action Figure, which features motion, lights, and more than 30 different sounds. He’s the perfect action figure for kids and kids at heart!

There’s also a Lightyear Belt Bag, inspired by IVAN, Buzz’s autopilot computer system. The bag will help young fans on any mission–big or small–and they’ll look really adventurous wearing it too!

According to Disney Parks Blog, fans will be able to find Lightyear-inspired merch at shopDisney and at the LEGO Store at Disney Springs, and at Amazon.com:
“There’s even more merchandise to complete your mission. Also available on shopDisney are Buzz’s ultimate foe, Zurg, and Buzz’s XL-15 rocket ship, thanks to our licensed retail partners, Mattel and LEGO (make sure to stop by the LEGO Store at Disney Springs to also find the XL-15 rocket ship). And of course, who can forget Buzz’s friend, Izzy Hawthorne, found in FUNKO Pop form on Amazon!”
