Disney Dining Serving up the latest Disney Eats, Treats, News, and More!
Walt Disney World does it again with Disney Genie+ limits.
Known as “The Most Magical Place on Earth,” there’s so much to see an do when you head to Walt Disney World Resort. Guests heading to Disney World can experience Disney’s four theme parks: Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Each Disney Park includes something for Guests of all ages.

With so many people visiting Disney World, it should come as no surprise that you might want to skip the lines. This is where Disney Genie, Disney Genie+, and Lightning Lane come into play. Disney Genie is a tool that Guests can use to make your theme park visit easier and more fun. The Disney Genie service creates your best Disney day inspired by your party’s top interests. It also grants you planning features, including a personalized itinerary creator that seamlessly and smartly maps out your visit with updates that continue from morning to night. And, Disney Genie service can even remind you when you’re eligible to make dining and activity reservations in advance.
Then there’s the paid services, which include Disney Genie+ and Individual Purchases of Lightning Lane Entry. The Individual Lightning Lane selections allow Guests to buy a time to skip the regular standby line queue. Some of the attractions available for Individual Lightning Lane purchase include TRON Lightcycle / Run, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Avatar Flight of Passage, and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Please keep in mind that Disney Genie+ and Lighting Lane can close unexpectedly.

In addition, attractions experience refurbishments to help them remain updated for Guests. A popular Disney World attraction recently had a lengthy refurbishment, and many Guests thought it may reopen as a different attraction. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith reopened on May 26 with a “soft opening,” after being closed for several months. At first, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster did not share wait times on the My Disney Experience app. However, if Disney World Guests look now, this should be corrected.
Sadly since this attraction is having a soft opening, Disney Genie+ or Lightning Lane are unavailable for Guests. At the time of this writing, we are unsure when or if Disney will add a Genie+ or Lighting Lane to this attraction.
