It was quite an Easter Sunday yesterday at Disneyland Paris Resort.
Yesterday at Disneyland Paris Resort, a sudden and intense flash flood descended upon the area. This unexpected weather event has led to the temporary closure of several outdoor attractions and activities throughout the resort. The inclement weather serves as a reminder of the variability in Disneyland Paris weather, where sunny skies can swiftly transform into dramatic thunderstorms, adding an unpredictable element to the visitor experience.
However, that was not the only issue Disneyland Resort Paris guests faced yesterday.

An Eventful Holiday
As the rain continued to fall, guests were advised to check for updates on attraction openings and closures to make the most of their time at the resort. The precipitation may have altered the usual ambiance of the theme park for guests. It is important to plan accordingly and stay tuned for further weather updates to ensure a memorable and enjoyable visit despite the current weather challenges.

While the weather yesterday was quite extreme, that was not the only warning given to guests. Earlier in the day, Disney issued an urgent crowd warning to the phones of all guests visiting Walt Disney Studios Park. These kinds of warnings are not very common, so Disney Park guests were quick to share the occurrence on social media.
Crowd Warning Issued by Disney
Yesterday morning, guests visiting Walt Disney Studios Park were told that the park was “currently very busy.” It was advised that guests with a 2-park ticket should go to Disneyland Park instead.

While this is definitely a unique kind of warning, it certainly is not the first or last time a warning of this kind has been bestowed onto Disney Park guests. With Spring break and Easter vacations happening all around the globe this past weekend, theme park attendance was on the ride both domestically and internationally.
While crowd and flood warnings can be a bummer, it is important to have a good attitude when adversity comes your way. Disney is a wonderful place where new and exciting activities are available, no matter the weather or the busyness of the parks.
