Disney Guest Tries to Jump From Ride Four Times, Cast Member Forced to Intervene

Yes, this is the cucumber ride. Yes, it’s happening again.

Hold onto your Mickey ears — because Disney guests are at it again, breaking the rules and putting safety at risk on one of EPCOT’s slowest (but somehow most chaotic) attractions: Living with the Land.

This past week, chaos hit the classic boat ride when not one, not two, but multiple guests decided it was totally fine to stand up and try to move around mid-ride. The kicker? It happened four separate times during the same boat trip, forcing Cast Members to cut off the music and narration repeatedly just to get people to sit down.

Let’s be clear: the ride didn’t stop — but the entire vibe sure did. The tranquil greenhouse cruise turned into a ride-monitoring nightmare, as Cast Members were forced to jump in over the loudspeaker to give live warnings like, “Please remain seated.” Over. And over. And over again.

Same Ride, Same Chaos — Sound Familiar?

If this story feels like déjà vu, you’re not wrong. Back in 2021, Living with the Land went viral after a guest literally jumped out of the boat to steal a cucumber. (Yes, a cucumber.) That moment, captured on video and blasted across TikTok and Instagram, showed a woman hopping off the ride, grabbing the veggie, and then wiping out trying to get back in her seat.

The incident wasn’t just embarrassing — it was dangerous. Disney has clear rules about “unsafe acts” and interfering with attraction operations. Back then, the guest risked a lifetime ban for breaking those rules. And if you think Disney won’t drop the hammer, think again. Cast Members and security don’t play when it comes to ride safety.

Here’s the Thing…

While Living with the Land isn’t exactly Space Mountain, the open boat design gives guests the ability to stand up if they really want to — and apparently, some can’t help themselves. There are no lap bars or seatbelts, but that doesn’t make it a free-for-all.

And just because the ride doesn’t grind to a halt doesn’t mean Disney isn’t watching. The moment someone stands, internal cameras catch it, and Cast Members can jump on the PA system faster than you can say “hydroponic lettuce.”

Want to Get Kicked Out of Disney? This Is How

Standing on a moving ride, even a slow one, can get you removed from the park on the spot. Depending on what you do — or how many times you do it — you might even find yourself permanently banned. Yes, even for something as dumb as reaching for a plant or trying to get a better selfie angle.

Disney has built a reputation on magic and safety — and they don’t let repeat offenders ruin that. But if guest behavior like this keeps up, don’t be surprised if we see more Cast Member announcements, more ride audio shutoffs, and fewer magical vibes for the rest of us.

  1. Show these idiots being led away in handcuffs and things like this will stop real fast. Make a BIG scene leading them out too!

  2. THESE STUPID IDIOTS MUST BE KICKED OUT OF THE PARK IMMEDIATELY AND FOREVER
THIS IS ONGOING WITH STUPID TOURISTS WHO COME TO WDW TO ACT LIKE SPOILED PRIVILEGE BRATS WHO SHOULD KNOW BETTER BUT OBVIOUSLY DO NOT

  3. Well, I’m definitely with the comments already made. Making a big deal of escorting them out of the park for the day is a great start. That can be for their first dumb act. Record it, and if they do something again, ban them from the park. They are not only endangering themselves, but others as well, when they do this stupid stuff. I might expect a kid to do this, one time, but I’d also expect the kids parent to quickly correct them! Same thing with these idiots getting into fights in the parks. This didn’t used to happen, and they need to, as Barney would say…Nip it, nip it in the bud!
