Let’s be honest; taking a Disney vacation is really exciting, but can also be really stressful. There is a lot of planning that goes into the trip, between choosing your hotel, selecting the best kind of theme park ticket, deciding where you want to eat, figuring out if Disney Genie+ is worth it, and so much more. So, it’s always great when you can find some really useful hacks that will make both the planning and the trip itself that much better.

However, not all Disney “hacks” are good ones. Some are just really great ways to get yourself in trouble at the parks and possibly even banned from visiting Disney in the future.

One guest who visited Disneyland is dealing with a lot of backlash and leaving people disgusted by her illegal Disneyland hack.

On July 16, the X (formerly Twitter) account GrindFace TV shared what they called a Disneyland hack. The video showed a woman putting alcohol into fake ice packs. She then took those “ice packs” out at Disneyland Park and poured some of the booze into some frozen drinks she had purchased. The woman and the man she is with then enjoy their spiked drinks.

Disneyland HACK‼️

While GrindFace might have thought that followers would love the hack or think that the woman is funny, that is definitely NOT what happened. Instead, commenters were grossed out by the woman’s actions. They didn’t understand why guests couldn’t just enjoy a day in the theme park without needing to drink.

Others pointed out that a baby stroller could be seen in the video. That meant that the man and woman had snuck alcohol into the parks, possibly to get tipsy or drunk while spending time with their infant or toddler.

Until they get caught and banned for life and gotta explain to the kids why they can never take them back! Just buy a drink at Disney yeah they are not cheap but it’s better than this!

The video quickly went viral, with many Disney fans taking to social media to voice their anger at someone knowingly and blatantly breaking the rules and calling it a “hack.”

If you need a plastic flask full of booze to enjoy Disneyland, it might not be the place for you.

However, some people liked the idea and said that they might try the hack sometime in the future. Disney theme parks do sell alcoholic beverages, but some guests do think that the drinks cost too much. It definitely can get expensive if you plan on having multiple alcoholic drinks during your Disney vacation, but that is no excuse for breaking the rules.

It is VERY important to note that outside alcohol is NOT allowed in Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure. The Disneyland Resort website states that alcohol can be brought into the three Disneyland Resort hotels — Disneyland Hotel, Pixar Place Hotel, and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Wine can also be brought into Downtown Disney, but must be consumed at a sit-down restaurant.

Disney has a zero-tolerance policy for guests who openly break the rules. If you are caught breaking a rule like sneaking in alcohol, you may be escorted from the theme park and possibly banned from visiting in the future.

Do you think guests who sneak alcohol into Disney should be banned from the parks? Let us know in the comments!

  1. I have been to Disney dozens of times. Alcohol is totally unnecessary! I hate these “Disney hacks”. Hacks are helpful. This isn’t

  2. You need booze that bad, go to AA. You have a problem.

  3. Yes, bann these two adults for not being able to handle a child/family environment putting any children in their care at risk. Not to mention she is sitting on an EVC (electronic vehicle chair) so therefore she is DRINKING & DRIVING against the law in all 50 states! Additionally when the lines get long their tempers will be short and that’s when altercations arise.

BANN THEM BOTH FROM ALL DISNEY LOCATIONS!

  4. Maybe copy that tweet and post it to Disney’s “contact us” email on their website. I fail to understand why anyone needs booze so desperately that they have to sneak it into a Disney park This isn’t the Renaissance Festival (which I do enjoy); alcohol isn’t part of the experience.

And I read a comment on a FB page from a guest whose Pringles were opened by security. This is because someone posted THEIR “hack:” putting a bottle in a Pringles can to get it past security. Now they check those snacks. Guess what’s going to be thoroughly checked and/or banned now?

If you need a drink that badly, you need help.
