Disney Delays New ‘Wish’ Development, Movie Under Wraps

Disney fans have been left wondering for quite some time when they might be able to hear new developments for the movie Wish.

Disney+ is a streaming platform that has taken the world by storm since its launch. Disney+ offers a vast and diverse library of content from the iconic Disney brand, making it a must-have for fans of all ages. With a subscription to Disney+, viewers gain access to a treasure trove of beloved classics, contemporary hits, and exclusive original programming.

Disney+ has a wide-ranging portfolio which ensures that there’s always something new and exciting to discover, subscribers can watch Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic.

Disney’s commitment to storytelling and its ability to create endearing characters shine brightly in Wish (2023). It’s a film that appeals to audiences of all ages.

The release of Wish marked a significant milestone for the Walt Disney Company as it became their 100th animated film. Despite its theatrical debut in November 2023, the film faced mixed reviews from critics and did not perform as expected at the box office.

Fans anticipated that Wish would eventually find its way onto Disney+ since many of Disney’s animated films have found success on the streaming platform. Many fans thought Wish would be coming to Disney+ in February.

Disney+ recently unveiled its lineup for February 2024, showcasing titles set to grace the platform during the month, and fans noticed that Wish is not heading to Disney+ yet.

The Marvels, which was released two weeks before Wish, is already coming to Disney+. This makes fans wonder Wish will come later in February or, hopefully, early March.

Wish is about a girl named Asha who helps find the truth and sets everyone’s wishes free. This movie has songs that fans will find themself singing throughout the day.

Disney+ still offers an expansive and diverse array of content, making it a cherished platform for viewers of all ages. While fans are waiting for Wish to head to Disney+ fans can rent the movie, or head to Disney+ to watch some of the classic films such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937), The Lion King (1994), Toy Story (1995) and Beauty and the Beast (1991).
