On October 1, Walt Disney World Resort kicked off its epic 50th Anniversary celebration, which will last an astonishing 18 months! As part of the celebration, Disney introduced two new nighttime spectaculars — Harmonious at EPCOT and Disney Enchantment at Magic Kingdom Park. Harmonious replaced the very popular Illuminations and Disney Enchantment replaced what was perhaps Disney’s most popular fireworks show of all-time, Happily Ever After. Disney Enchantment shows every night — weather permitting — and, now that we are deep into summer — it will show even more!

Spectrum News reporter Ashley Carter shared that, for a limited time, Disney Enchantment will be shown twice per night. She did not share whether that means that there will be multiple dessert parties at Tomorrowland Terrace, but, right now, reservations only pop up for the first showing of Disney Enchantment. Carter posted the theme park news on her official Twitter page:

Starting tonight through July 24, Disney Enchantment, the nighttime spectacular at Magic Kingdom, will be presented twice each night, first at 9:20 p.m. and then at 11 p.m.

Here is more information on Disney Enchantment from the Walt Disney Resort website:

Watch in awe as Cinderella Castle comes to life with magical effects that—for the first time ever—extend down Main Street, U.S.A.! Plus, enjoy dazzling new lighting that illuminates the Castle courtyard and stunning fireworks that light up the night sky. All the while, classic and reimagined Disney songs will sweep you up into the adventure of a lifetime, along with an original new song by 7-time Grammy award-winning songwriter Philip Lawrence.

Disney Enchantment, presented by Pandora, is truly a celebration of magic, imagination, joy and hope for all who carry dreams in their hearts. Throughout your journey, favorite Disney Characters like Raya, Moana and Joe Gardner from Soul will join as you explore a world of wonder filled with friendship, love and fun. And if darkness tries to hold you back, you’ll discover you only have to look within to find the power to believe and make your dreams come true. The magic has been inside you all along!

Since its premiere, Disney Enchantment has had mixed reviews, with many people saying that, while the theme park show is good, they don’t love it as much as they loved Happily Ever After. However, that has not stopped the crowds from descending onto Main Street, U.S.A. when it comes time for the show. Disney Enchantment will continue to show nightly throughout the World’s Most Magical Celebration, which will wrap up on April 1, 2023. At this time, Disney has not shared whether they will keep Disney Enchantment, go back to Happily Ever After, or create an entirely new show for the Disney Park.
