Additionally, guests staying at Disney Resort hotels can take advantage of early entry, which allows access to the park before or after regular hours, making for a more exclusive and less crowded experience. However, guests visiting the parks in June should be wary of one early closure made so far.

June Closure at WDW
On June 21, Magic Kingdom Park will close two hours early at 7:00 pm. This information can be found on the calendar and is accessible on the Walt Disney World Resort app. As of now, there is no reason listed as to why this early closure will be happening, but many fans believe it could be tied to a special event that will be happening on the property: the DoD Warrior Games.

This special event, which will take place on June 21-30, 2024, will bring large crowds to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complet located on the Resort property. The events page says:
“The Department of Defense Warrior Games is an annual event, first held in 2010, that celebrates the resiliency and dedication of wounded, ill, and injured active duty and veteran U.S. military service members. From June 21-30, 2024, the DoD Warrior Games will return to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando, Florida.”
It is likely that this event may have rented out Magic Kingdom Park for a special evening of magic. For now, fans will have to wait to see what the reasoning ends up being, as well as if there are any extended hours closed down the line.
