Dining at The Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is home to several table service restaurants, including one that has a truly unique theme that immerses Guests in an unforgettable experience. The Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant is located in the Commissary Lane area of the Disney Park and invites Guests to step back in time to a vintage drive-in theater where the movie clips are as memorable as the delicious food.

The interior of Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant is made to feel like a Hollywood sound stage and is filled with a sea of brightly colored vintage cars that each hold rows of table or booth seating. Every car is facing a large screen at the front of the restaurant that plays an entertaining mix of sci-fi clips and cartoons from the 1950s, including some special bits where Guests can spot favorite Disney characters.

Part of what helps to make the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant so memorable is the attention to detail that can be found in a massive mural painted behind the fencing and screen that depicts the Hollywood Hills at night, complete with towering palm trees and twinkling stars. The cars themselves also feature some great detail, with the Disney logo in chrome and Imagineers’ initial and birthdays left as signatures on the license plates.

Guests can indulge in the Spicy Martian Margarita, Orbiting Oreos, Long Island Lunar Tea, Baileys and Coffee, and more, and every beverage is a great addition to any meal for lunch or dinner!
