Another day, another Disney rumor to dispel. However, this one involving the notorious Epstein Island in St Thomas, is more of a joke than a rumor.

Every now and again, weird news comes out of Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Often, these stories are almost unbelievable. That’s because, in many cases, they certainly are!

One of the latest culprits that has been fulling guests online is a blazing headline that The Walt Disney Company has now purchased an island that once belonged to Jeffrey Epstein, the American financier and convicted sex offender who passed away while in prison in 2019.

The stories and claims coming out of the island lately have been top news across the United States, with many believing that some of the world’s elite utilized their private time alongside Jeffrey Epstein on the island to commit unspeakable acts.

Now known simply as Epstein Island, there’s been much talk over what should happen to the Virgin Island property now that Epstein has passed away. With its connections to damning depositions concerning names like Prince Andrew, Stephen Hawking, and former President Bill Clinton.

One such assumption made is that Disney, which already owns a nearby island, will purchase Epstein Island to build a theme park. Scrolling through the OJ Simpson news on your social media timelines will quickly show that this story, initially posted by Mouse Trap News, has gained some steam.

Epstein Island, officially known as Little St. James, is a private island located in the U.S. Virgin Islands, near St. Thomas. This island gained significant notoriety due to its former owner, the disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein. Epstein Island was the site of Epstein’s alleged sex trafficking activities, where he was accused of exploiting and abusing numerous young girls. The island was also frequented by high-profile individuals such as Prince Andrew, Bill Clinton, and Ghislaine Maxwell.

Mouse Trap News, a continued source of satirical Disney news, posted the story, but a quick fact check shows that billionaire investor Stephen Deckoff actually owns two islands once belonging to Epstein. Although we’re unsure if the particular island, known by some as pedophile island, is among them, given the track record of Mouse Trap News to make up grabbing headlines based on popular subject matter for clicks, we can all rest safely in the knowledge that Disney is not purchasing Epstein Island.
