EPCOT’s International Flower and Garden Festival is underway but we are already looking ahead to EPCOT’s International Food and Wine Festival! Come on, we’re Disney Dining…of course Food and Wine is our favorite festival! Today Disney announced dates and details for the most delicious festival on Earth.
Every year the International Food and Wine festival seems to go longer and longer. What used to be a quick little fall festival grew into an all fall festival and eventually crept into the summer. This year is no different. EPCOT’s International Food and Wine Festival will begin on July 27, 2023 and end November 18, 2023. Just as soon as Food and Wine ends, it’ll be time for Christmas festivities!

This year’s event will feature 25 Global Marketplaces where you can sample delicious cuisine from around the world. Some of our returning favorites include, The Fry Basket, Flavors from Fire, Shimmering Sips, Canada, India and Spain. Disney is also promising BRAND NEW marketplaces but they have not yet announced what they’ll be. No menus have been released yet either but as soon as they are we will make sure to let you know!

Another returning fan favorite this year is the Eat to the Beat Concert Series! Each year you can enjoy dinner and a show as top performers from across generations and genres visit the American Garden Stage. Best part? The concert is completely free! Admission is included in your park ticket.
Cheese lovers rejoice! Emile’s Fromage Montage is your ticket to the tastiest cheesiest treats the festival has to offer. Grab your Festival Passport and purchase any five cheese dishes listed in the back of the Festival Passport to collect a stamp. When you’ve filled your passport, redeem it at Simmering Sips for a one of a kind sweet treat!
Also returning this year is Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak! This family friendly scavenger hunt features everyone’s favorite “little chef.” Search for Remy throughout World Showcase and the Global Marketplaces and make sure to keep track of where you spot him– there’s a prize for those who complete the challenge!

During the Halloween season there’s even MORE fun to be had as Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit kicks off! You and your friends and family will race around EPCOT on a special pumpkin scavenger hunt but this limited time fun is only available September 29- October 31!
Notably absent from today’s announcements was any mention of cooking demonstrations or other hands-on activities. They have been missing from the festival since the Pandemic began but we had hoped they would return this year. There are still more announcements to come so Disney could be waiting to surprise us all at a later date. If this happens we will make sure to let you know as soon as we know!
Our mouths are already watering thinking about all of the delicious food this festival will bring! We can’t wait to sample all of it. As usual you can stay tuned right here for “the best of the fest” (and also find out what we tried so that you don’t have to).
