Over the years, Darth Vader has become one of the most recognizable characters of all time. His trademark black mask and dark demeanor could be spotted from a mile away. That is why some fans were shocked to see him twirling in a new, rainbow-themed outfit.

Pride Takes California by Storm
Every June, the United States comes together to honor and celebrate Pride Month. All month long, the LGBTQ+ community will host events to celebrate the community and fight for the causes near and dear to them. Many people look forward to Pride events as a way to let loose and have a joyous time.
The state of California sees all different kinds of Pride festivities. At Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, Guests can attend the first-ever Disneyland After Dark: Pride Nites. These evening events will allow Guests to enjoy a Cavalvade, a dance party, and tons of exciting treats and character interactions.
However, California residents actually met a Disney Parks character at a pride event outside of Disneyland.

Darth Vader Joins Pride Celebrations

Many misidentified that the Parade happened at a Disney Park because the characters walked behind a Disney banner. The event was actually the Pride Parade in West Hollywood that took place on June 4, 2023. It looks like fans love the character now being nicknamed “Darth Gaydar.”
