It’s the most wonderful time of the year! That’s right, my friend D23 is upon us, and news is already starting to drop! Twitter has blessed us tonight with some sneak peeks of what to expect from the Expo. These are announcements that have already been made, but they are giving us much more detail, and we are absolutely here for it.

First up, check out the Dreamers Statue coming to EPCOT.  This statue was part of the announcement for EPCOT’s reimagining announced at 2019’s D23. We love the Partners Statue over at Magic Kingdom, but this one really tugs on our heartstrings! EPCOT was a pet project of Walt’s, and he never got to see it. This statue will come to symbolize his dream becoming a reality as he surveys the work that was carried on after his death.

Next, how about a sneak peek at the brand new pavilion currently under construction at EPCOT? The Journey of Water will feature a 16-foot-tall Te Fiti! This pavilion will be a walk-through attraction where guests will be able to meet and play with water and learn about its vital life-giving properties, all with a magical Disney touch Inspired by Moana.

Finally, check out the 3-D model of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, coming to both Magic Kingdom and Disneyland Park. You can’t tell much from the model but what we CAN see is that the ride vehicles and overall structure of the ride will remain the same. It appears as though a water tower will be added to the ride’s exterior.

These are just sneak peeks. We expect more detail will be given about each of these attractions as the weekend goes on. Stay right here for complete coverage of this year’s D23 Expo. We will be bringing you live updates all weekend long, and you won’t want to miss a second of it. After a three-year wait, we have high hopes that this will be the most exciting Expo ever!

About Jill Bivins

Jill Bivins has been visiting Disney Parks since she was 2 years old and loves sharing her Disney adventures with the world. She likes to say Disney is in her blood and writing is in her bones — so any time she has the opportunity to combine these loves she is one happy camper! She has a deep abiding love for Epcot and as a die hard Star Wars fan has a serious love for Hollywood Studios as well. When she isn't exploring or writing about Disney Parks, Jill is homeschooling her 8 year old son, playing with her brand new baby son, or pretending to be a farmer on her family homestead (despite being unable to keep even a cactus alive).
